Author Guidelines

The Titik Simpul Journal publishes articles progressively, on a per-article basis, in accordance with the following provisions:

Technical Guidelines

  1. Authors must create an account by register and login in to the Titik Simpul Journal.
  2. Authors are required to actively communicate through their account on the Titik Simpul Journal, respond, and remain cooperative.
  3. Articles submitted to the Titik Simpul Journal will be reviewed and authors will receive a notification message from the editor regarding:
  • The relevance of the article to the focus and scope.
  • The publication plan and its possibility.
  1. If the author does not agree with the editor’s notification, the author may withdraw the article by informing the editor through the account, via email, or by contacting the phone number listed on the Titik Simpul Journal contact page.
  2. The editor has the right to automatically reject the submitted article if the author disagrees with the editor’s notification, or if the author does not respond to the editor’s notification within 10 days after the notification is sent.
  3. Authors will receive an LOA (Letter of Acceptance) after the article is published in the Titik Simpul Journal.

General Article Guidelines

  1. Authors are advised to read and understand the Titik Simpul Journal, including its focus and scope, as well as the writing guidelines provided in the template.
  2. Submitted articles must be the author’s original scientific work and must not have been previously published or under consideration by another publication.
  3. Submitted articles must align with the focus and scope of the Titik Simpul Journal and must follow the journal template (Download Template).
  4. Submitted articles should discuss current themes related to aspects of history education and historical science, demonstrating analytical sharpness, novelty of references, and free from plagiarism (with a maximum similarity index of 25%).
  5. Authors are required to use reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero.
  6. Articles must be submitted directly online through the Titik Simpul Journal website in Microsoft Word format and in accordance with the Titik Simpul Journal template.

Article Submission Rejected

  1. The author does not agree with the editor’s notification.
  2. The author withdraws the article and decides not to publish it in the Titik Simpul Journal.
  3. The article shows a similarity index of more than 25%.
  4. The author is unresponsive, uncooperative, and inactive for more than 30 days.
  5. The author fails to revise the article within 30 days.
  6. The article does not align with the focus and scope of the Titik Simpul Journal.
  7. The submitted article is in PDF format.
  8. The article does not comply with the Titik Simpul Journal style template.
