THE EFFECT OF ICT-BASED INTERACTIVE LEARNING MEDIA ON CREATIVITY AMONG PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER EDUCATION STUDENTS AT STKIP PANGERAN ANTASARI

This study aimed to examine the effect of interactive learning media based on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) on the creativity of students in the Primary School Teacher Education Program at STKIP Pangeran Antasari. This study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The participants consisted of 60 students, including 30 students in the experimental group and 30 students in the control group. The experimental group received learning through ICT based interactive learning media, while the control group received conventional learning media. Students' creativity data were collected through tests and product assessments based on the indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The results showed that the mean posttest score of the experimental group was 84.63, while the control group obtained a mean score of 74.17. The N Gain score of the experimental group was 0.57, compared with 0.29 for the control group. The results of the Independent Samples t Test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference in creativity between the experimental and control groups. Therefore, the use of ICT based interactive learning media had a significant effect on the creativity of students in the Primary School Teacher Education Program at STKIP Pangeran Antasari and can serve as an alternative learning approach for developing the creative abilities of prospective primary school teachers.
